Treatments
Shiatsu
Shiatsu involves applying pressure to special points or areas on the body in order to alleviate discomfort brought on by imbalanced, congested or stagnant energy. This therapy is considered holistic because it addresses the whole person instead of a specific medical complaint. Shiatsu, which can be translated as finger pressure, has been described as needle-free acupuncture.
Medical QiGong
Chinese medicine has been actively practiced for as much as 7,000 years, with continuing evolution and adaptation to the needs and conditions of the patient being treated. Sometimes referred to as "accupunture without the needles", QiGong uses touch, intention, muscle manipulation, sound and shen to balance, support and motivate the client's Qi/energy. Balanced and flowing Qi allieviates chronic pain and inflamation, allow for greater range of motion and for increased reserves of energy. Particularly effective in treatment of chronic conditions and inflamation. Sometimes, treatments may include GuaSha, cupping, moxibustion or other techniques derived from the Chinese medical tradition.
Deep Tissue Work
The alignment of our skeletal and muscular systems rely primarily upon the balance of our connective tissue, which connects and defines our muscles. Deep Tissue Work refers to techniques (like ROLFING, Structural Therapy and others) that directly address imbalances in the fascia and musculo-skeletal system, through a combination of stretching, compression, traction, pressure, active and passive motion and unwinding. While the work can sometimes be a bit intense, it is rarely painful.
Shamanic Healing
While much of healing can be done at the level of the physical body, some requires going deeper, into the energetic and spiritual parts of your deepest self. Shamanic healing works with the client to retrieve and re-integrate parts of the essential energies that have become lost through trauma. It works to reconnect the client with the inner resources of ancestors and soul, which bring us into allignment with our life's purpose.

Shamanism is a form of spiritual work that entails entering an intentional trance states in order to perform the healing, through communication with spirits - often ancestor spirits of the client.

Testimonials
I've been a chronic pain patient for thirty years now, and the best bodywork I've ever found in Cincinnati has been with Kenn Day of Body & Soul. His is a multi-layered, interdisciplinary
approach, holistic and psychosomatic (he integrates mind, body and spirit into his treatments). He works on other aspects of my body, such as COPD, and gets more healing than any medical practitioner I've seen
in my long journey. He truly has "magic hands", and his treatments and intuitive understanding of personality and spirit are heartening and create optimism and hope for patients like me.
I recommend Body & Soul without hesitation.

Family Constellation Work
Our deepest relationships — with parents, husbands and wives, children and others — can provide profound support in our lives. However, hidden dynamics within these relationships often produce obstacles that keep us from being able to feel the positive effects of that support. Systemic Constellation Work (SCW) is a powerful tool for bringing these hidden dynamics to light and removing the obstacles, leading to a greater flow of love, strength and support through all our relations.
SCW is an experiential process, working at a deeper level than conventional psychotherapy. Bert Hellinger, the founder of SCW, often describes working at the level of the soul. This means that the impact of this work can be both more immediate and more lasting than techniques which address the mind alone.
